Chapter Archives - Kurow

Character Background: Kurow is a member of the Kirishima clan - a family of Mysterious Death Ninjas similar to the Imawanos. Complete with mind control skills, no less, and a strange predilection for attacking people with orchestral insturments. He's the younger of two siblings; his only other immediate family being his older sister Yurika. The pair have presumably been sent to kick some Imawano ass for screwing up but good during the whole Hyo Brainwashing fiasco. To accomplish this, he's taken the measure of establishing a covert group dedicated to overthrowing the present system of schools - the Dark Students Council. Kurow seems more to be out for himself, however, than on some Honorable Crusade. He couldn't care less about takign down Raizo like a good little boy.

That kind of comes with the territory, Kirishima wanting to be Evil and all.

Unfortunately for the surrounding area, Kurow happens to be in a bit of a phase right now. Or at least one would hope it's temporary. Yes, that's right, Kirishima seems to have hit the "teenage rebellion" stage. Which wouldn't be all that bad, if he weren't gifted with a cute lil' Freudian mind-control flute, martial-arts ability of the 'huge bloody gash causing' variety, and a hell of an attitude problem. At the moment he's stuck in the eminently unsuitable (for him) Justice Academy, trying to plot and find something to be bitter about.

Character Plans: Kurow's having to deal with the whole new school bit.. and the fact that he's stuck in the scholastic equivalent of a cross between Academic Boot Camp and the Land of the Care Bears. It's hard being Evil. He'll basically be trying to pull the Dark Student Council together, survive the year, maybe brainwash some people, and concocting Evil Plots to take over the school system. No, he's not sure why either. Kurow has some issues with authority.

Kurow shall be differing from the normal Project Justice storyline, however, in that after the events of Akira 6 his sister Yurika confiscates his flute as punishment while he's unconcious. Y'know , for beating random people up in the highway. Needless to say, this shall be something that Kirishima wants to get back...)

Character Strength: An accomplished flautist - and yes, that's normal music as well as Music of Hypnotic Madness. Kurow can also fight without the thing with some rather more impressive claws. Not a terribly defensive character, many of his moves involve.. well.. slashing. Slashing and/or life-draining. He moves fairly quickly. Average strength is made up for with extreme precision. All in all, as a fighter Kurow is all about technique.

His other skills include another hand-eye coordination requiring hobby - namely, a predilection for rythm video-games (note : that's not real.. just added for.. umm.. quirkiness). Kurow can be an excellent strategist when he puts his mind to it, and has amazing skill with costuming. he was able to perfectly replicate Batsu, after all. Personality-wise, he's very tenacious. And I mean very tenacious - Kirishima's not used to not getting his own way. And not one past to get into depressive fits. Antisocial by choice and circumstance instead of any inborn shyness.

Character Weakness: Frankly? Kurow is a big ol' capital-P Punk (and no, no I don't mean the nose-piercing kind). He's self-absorbed, utterly un-empathetic, and above all more than a little proud. Make no mistake, he is an amazing strategist. But he's certainly not the leader he has to act as, and far too stubborn for his own good. Kirishima can't take criticism at all, and is basically a huge control freak. This masks an underlying insecurity that's not really readily apparent to most (if any). Sometimes he'll do things just to be contrary, or to defy authority, despite them being obviously really stupid actions - there goes that pride again...

If we're talking fighting, Kurow's not exactly the most strength-oriented of people. Liek I said - he's all about technique. No long range attacks for him, and a very limited defensive repetoire.
