Chapter Archives - Zaki (Aoi Himezaki)

Character Background: Zaki grew up poor in Tokyo, with her parents. However, they died when she was relatively young. Other members of her family basically juggled her around until she considered herself old enough to take care of herself. From that point on, she got her own place. However, this maturation of sorts resulted in a personality overhaul (combined with super-spoily events) which resulted in her being thrown into an all-girls' reform junior high school. A month later, she was running the place, almost like a female Daigo Kazama.

But she couldn't stay there forever. Upon graduation, she scoped out the nearby high schools and soon decided on Windermere, as it was best for her needs; so inconspicuous.

Character Plans: Look at Edge's plot, then back up a few paces. First, Zaki is going to start attending high school, so that all has to be set up. Of course, she is still running the junior high school gang from the sidelines (but she can't be there at all hours, so she has set up someone to run it in her stead). Then she gets to meet with Yokai, showing why she's even helping him in the first place. After her plot's finally parallel with Edge's, they'll play off each other. Expect Zaki and Edge to meet again.

Character Strengths: Fighting-wise, Zaki has a chain. She knows how to use it, too. This results in much pain for anyone who gets hit with it, and an addition to her already-good range. She has physical power, to boot. Her flexibility (physically) can also be an asset. Personality-wise, Zaki is very perceptive of situations and people, and is good at reading into both. She is mature for her age. She can be extremely intimidating, and she refuses to take crap from anyone. In addition, she has some interesting abilities, due to her background; she knows how to fade into a crowd when necessary, stealth is her forte, and she can pick a mean lock, too.

Character Weaknesses: Zaki's fighting style relies on power and range. This is because she is not fast or nimble. In fact, she is quite the opposite. She is slow to trust; gaining her faith is quite an accomplishment. She also tends to be a hothead when angered. She distrusts teachers, claiming that they don't listen. Finally, she expects to be in charge of nearly any situation. Also, lugging around a chain can pretty much destroy any stealth she might have, what with the noise factor and all.
