Q stepped back out of Susan's arms, turned and walked to the mouth of the alley then said "We Must Go, Your Former Employer Will Be Ready For Us"
"Ah yeah sure you got it" Susan said with a frown "oh and thanks for helping me"
Q turned and said in his soft, level tone "You Have Thanked Me Enough Already Susan Please Do Not Feel They Are Necessary I Do Not Help You To Put You In My Debt Nor For Thanks"
Susan hung her head "sorry" she said in a hurt tone
Q walked forward and said "No I Must Apologise I Am Not Used To Dealing With Others Apart From Terabyte" he looked around "But Now We Really Must Go" the mecanoid turned and walked out of the alley followed by The young Miss Anderson both unaware of the lithe and shadowy figure that leapt to the ground next to the pile of ashes that used to be the thug named Moose "well it looks like Mister Avati will not have to kill him for failing after all, Perhaps I will contact the Master after I test his mettle" the figure then leapt onto the wall and climbed at lightning speed

Out on the street Q and Susan made their way to a large imposing building that towered over the city "this is the place, Jonnie's building" She looked at Q with a smile "So how we gonna get in? climb the outside wall and crash through a window? Land a chopper on the roof? You Activate Jets On YOUR BACK?" she looked expectant
"No" Q walked into the building and up to the receptionist sitting in the foyer "I And My Friend Would Like To See Jonnie Avati"
Susan gaped as the receptionist said without looking up "do you have an appointment?"
"No But I Am Sure He Can Fit Me In" said Q as he placed one large hand on the desk
The receptionist looked up into the shadows that lit Q's face "Errrrrrrrrrrrrrr I'll look in the book"
"Thank You" Q felt a hand on his arm and Susan hissed "Are you Crazy? he'll kill us for sure!"
just then Q heard a voice inside his head "Big Guy sorry to bother you but that human just hit the security button"
Q thought to his sentient computer "Do Not Call Me Big Guy It Annoys Me Terabyte"
"that's why i do it Big Guy" Terabyte said followed by an electronic laugh

Q was then called back due to the arrival of a number of uniformed men "I Wish To See Jonnie Avati" Q crossed his arms the guard in the lead stepped forward and said "well Mister Avati does not want to see YOU!!"
"How Unfortunate However I Think I Will Go Up Anyway" He started toward the lift behind the receptionists desk then stopped as guns were Drawn "Susan Step Behind Me Now"
the head guard said "men Open Fire on intruders"

A hail of hot lead struck Q who stood still and straight until the guards stopped firing and then surged forward and in a flurry grabbed the lead guard and threw him into two others who were trying to free tazers, spun around and knocked out three more and then punched and broke the jaw of one who had shot him point blank range in the back before they could react and then was lost under a pile of kicking, punching and flailing bodies

Susan looked on in horror "Q!!!!!!!" she yelled as she ran forward to help

Suddenly the pile exploded in a rain of flying bodies and Q stood and dusted off his coat "Now I Will Go Up To Meet Mister Avati If No-one Has Objections" he looked around at the unconscious guards and the cowering receptionist "I Thought Not" he was walking toward the lift when someone grabbed him from behind and wrapped her arms around him

"Yes I Am Ok There Was No Need To Worry Susan, Now Come We Must See Your Boss"
He strode to the lift that opened as he approached "Good Work Terabyte" thought Q

Susan followed him into the lift and bent to examine the buttons "No Need" Said Q crossing his arms "Terabyte Will Take Care Of It"

The Lift began to rise past level after level until it reached the top and the doors opened. Susan stepped out into the lavishly furnished office followed by the huge figure of Q who looked around at the statues and paintings scattered around. Susan's eyes however were only for the man behind the desk her lip curled in a expression of hate as he smiled mockingly and said "Susan I called for you hours ago you know I don't like to wait for my "Entertainment" "
She stared daggers at him and said "Sorry Jonnie Boy but I quit your not getting your jollies out of this girl any more" she then turned and began to walk away
"I'm sorry too Susan" Jonnie drew a pistol from his drawer and shot her in the back before she could take a step
for the first time since he killed Susan's mother Q raised his voice "SUSAN!!!!!!" Q yelled in rage as leapt forward at Jonnie who vanished through a passage in the wall.

Q struck the wall again and again shaking the building trying to get at Jonnie Avati then he heard a voice from behind him "Q?" he turned to see Susan now laying on her back
"Susan You Are Ok" Q said as he kneeled next to her
"Yep I am my back hurts though" Susan said as she sat up
Q gazed at her with his glowing red eyes "Errrrrrrrrrrrrrr what are you doing?"
"I Am Scanning For Injuries And It Looks Like The Bullet Glanced Off One Of Your Ribs It Will Be Easily Fixed" Q stood "However I Still Think You Should Stay Here While I Go And Have A Word With Mister Avati Terabyte Will Make Sure You Are Not Disturbed" he then turned and walked back into the lift which opened as he approached "To The Roof" Q thought
"yes sir and don't worry i'll take care of her i already have a drone on the way" answered Terabyte
"Good" Q stepped out as the door opened onto the roof

Q's eyes scanned the roof taking in the four thugs and the rising helicopter, he then began to walk forward intent on stopping the chopper
"No way freak" said a tough that he recognised as Rocco "you caused me allot of pain and now the boss don't trust me so I'm gonna kill you right now" He pulled out an object that Q identified as an A Type grenade (scan complete: explosive range:4 meters, damage possibility:78.39% suggested action: do not be inside blast radius)
Q waited

Rocco pulled the pin

Rocco drew back his arm to throw the grenade

Q threw out his arm and pointed one finger at Rocco's hand

A blast of blue energy flew from Q's finger and struck the Grenade freezing it to Rocco's hand "AHHHHHHHHH FUCK THAT HURT" Yelled the thug as he looked at his hand.....................................then some thing dawned on him "oh shit" were the last words he spoke as the grenade exploded killing him and two of the other hired goons.
Q stepped forward "Do You Want To Fight Me?" He said to the last thug who then ran like the devil was of his tail

Q looked up at the rising copter and narrowed his glowing red eyes

Jonnie laughed and waved at the huge form watching him

A huge bolt of flaming energy flew from his hand to strike the helicopter which was engulfed in a fireball that destroyed it utterly apart from Jonnie who got out just in time and fell to the roof his clothes in tatters and with a few cuts,burns and abrasions but otherwise unhurt for the moment

Q walked up to Jonnie Avati and grabbed him by the throat "irk what do you ahhhhh want?"
"I Want To Know One Thing" said Q as he tightened his grip
"ack ahhh ok what?" gurgled Jonnie trying to breath
"Can You Fly?"

Q threw him over the side of the roof
Jonnie Avati, boss of the New York branch of The Magga organization screamed on the long way down
Q walked to the side and said "Learn"

"nicely done" said a voice from the shadows
Q spun to face a shadowy form standing in the darkness "Who?"
"I am Knife Of Shadow and I am to bring you to Shadowloo, do not resist" said a voice like a blade cutting through silk
"I Have Heard Of Shadowloo and I will not come" said Q crossing his arms

The figure drew a gleaming length of steel and stepped out of the shadow "a Pity"
Knife of Shadow dropped into a fighting stance his Katana gleaming "let us see how powerful you really are" He leapt forward with a yell that echoed across the city
