Kyosuke Chapter 4
"Oh, Crap"
It was almost 11:00 when Hyo left the Justice High building with his bag in his hand. Sinsuke sat in the bushes next to the door of Hyo's dorm building. Mr. Tokiyara had informed him of the trouble the day before and he had advised Sinsuke to look for trouble.
Hyo started to walk down the walkway to the wall and the fence which was locked from 10:00 on.
Sinsuke picked up his head when he heard the footsteps. Hyo made his way over the wall at the corner, jumping from side to side until he reached the top, jumping down on the other side.
"Crap." Sinsuke said, running to the teachers dorms as quietly as he could.

Tokiyara had left his door open for the past two nights, in case Sinsuke had anything to report. He sat at his desk, grading papers for his English class. Tokiyara knew that Sinsuke was in the room when the door made a soft clicking noise upon closing. Tokiyara put down his papers. Though the only light that was on in the room was the desk lamp, Tokiyara saw Sinsuke approaching.
"Yes, Sinsuke." Tokiyara said, aware of his presence.
"Sir, I have some news to report." Sinsuke replied calmly.
"Continue." Replied Tokiyara.
"Hyo Imawano left a few minutes ago. I came here as fast as was possible." Sinsuke said, his voice slightly faltering after the first sentence.
"That could pose a problem." said Tokiyara calmly, "It could just as easily help us."
"How so?" replied Sinsuke, confused.
"Well, with Hyo gone, we could either intensify the attacks," Tokiyara paused, "Or this might interrupt our operation."
"I'll give you a leave of absence from school, starting tomorrow. Find out where Hyo's gone. Report to me by phone in three days. I expect to have more information."
"Yes sir." Sinsuke said, leaving the room. The door made a clicking sound.

Kyosuke came home from school, immediately going to his room to change his clothes. Koji didn't get home until seven or eight so he had a few hours without him home every day. Kyosuke tried to stay in his normal routine. He walked to the kitchen, picking up a carton of juice and he started to pour a glass. The juice box slipped out of his hand.
"Damn it!" Kyosuke screamed out.
He started to wipe up the juice with some paper towels. He'd been doing things like this all day. First at school he'd tripped and spilled his food on the floor. On the way home, he'd walked straight into someone's sprinkler. Kyosuke put the juice back in the fridge, giving up.
<This crap with Hyo's been bothering me.I still don't know what's wrong with him. He should have listened to me and stayed here and gone to Taiyo High with me.None of this would have happened.> Kyosuke shook his head, putting his cup in the sink and going to his room.

Batsu walked started to walk out of town, his mother had had him go into town for milk. He Started to head to his block when he heard something make a noise behind him. A girl his age, about his height, stood behind him smiling.
" Sorry to scare you." the girl said, "I wasn't following you or anything. I live just up the block. "
Batsu looked down at her feet. Her purse was on the ground, obviously, that was the sound.
"Oh, Hi. I'm Batsu." Batsu said nervously, the girl was pretty, Batsu was actually pretty shy.
"Sorry to ask Batsu, but could you walk me home? It's getting dark, and I get kinda scared.", the girl said, laughing.
"Sure." Batsu said.
They started to walk up the block and she made a sharp right turn before his block.
"I thought you lived up the street?" Batsu asked.
"It's just up this way", she said, walking further.
This wasn't the best area of town. Batsu had to move to the side of the street so he wouldn't step on this drunk that was lying in the street.
"Almost there." The girl said quietly.
She turned towards a ware house that sat up on a dead end street and then stopped in front of the door.
"We're here.", the girl said, smiling.
A sharp pain at the back of Batsu's neck assured him that, yes, they had arrived, and no, there isn't a welcome party.

Hyo had reached the inner part of the city and he started to look for a place to stay. He was tired, so the first place he saw would have to do. A sign nailed to a pole read: Comfort Inn
"VACANCIES"
<Comfort Inn. Looks pretty comfortable.> Hyo said, looking at the drunk laying on the front steps.
He walked in the door and he was immediately hit with the worst odor he'd ever smelled. By the looks of the man at the front desk, it was have been coming from him. Hyo approached the desk and he unfortunately got a closer look at the guy. If he'd taken a bath in the last year, he'd taken it in dirty water and washed himself with mud. Hyo had to try as hard as he could not to throw up from the smell.
"Yeah." The man said, "What the hellya want?"
<Boy, was he polite.>
"I just need a room for the night." Hyo replied, sorry he'd had to open his mouth when the smell had wafted in.
"30." He said, opening his mouth and letting Hyo realize that he didn't have the sweetest breath.
"Here." Hyo said, handing him the money.
"You've got the presidential suite." The guy said, laughing at his own joke.
The guy handed him a room key, then turned back to the small black and white TV he was watching.
Hyo walked down the hallway and opened the door to his room. The door swung open before he'd turned the key. Obviously they weren't too interested in safety. The room was surprisingly okay, except it was about the size of a broom closet. It had a bed, a lamp and a small night table. The bathroom was behind the door on the way in. Hyo started to go under the covers, but he changed his mind when he saw that the sheets were a light shade of brown and he just slept on top of the sheets.

Batsu woke up and he was immediately sorry he had when he'd realized his head was aching like he'd been hit by a freight train. He started to look around the place and he was surprised a ware house would've been so nicely furnished. It looked like a mansion from the inside, red carpets, twelve foot ceilings, the works. He would've had more time to admire his surroundings if he hadn't been strapped to some contraption. He tried as hard as he could to struggle out, unfortunately making his head ache worse.
"Damn it!" Batsu screamed, finally giving up.
"Please, calm down. We aren't intending to hurt you." Said a voice that wafted in from the doorway.
"RRRrr!" Batsu said again trying to struggle out.
"There's no use. We've strapped you in tightly." The voice said, and stepping into the light, the voice was given a face.
He was about six feet tall and he was skinny. He had long blonde hair that went to about his waist and he was wearing a headband to hold it back.
"I'm so rude. Shinji Sakashita." He said, bowing.
Batsu spit at him.
"Shut up! I don't care who the hell you are, but you don't know who you're messing with." Batsu said.
" Oh yes I do." Shinji said, wiping the spit off his face.
"Well, that's enough time we've wasted already. It's time to get on with it." Shinji said.
"With what?!" Batsu said, a little nervous.
"The brainwashing, of course." Shinji replied, laughing.
*******************
Sinsuke closed the door to Tokiyara's room, heading to his dorm to gather his things.
<RRrr.That fool Tokiyara thinks he can tell me to do whatever he wants.he'll get it.soon enough. Once I've finished my plan, no one will stand in my way! Tokiyara underestimates me because I'm young; he thinks I'm naïve. And all this time he thought I was loyal to him. He's the one who's naïve.>
<When my sister Sayuri and I had met Tokiyara, we were only children. Our father had hired him as our martial arts instructor. After a year or two, our younger sister, Mina had gone missing. The police could find no leads and my father had confronted Master Tokiyara, accusing him of the kidnapping. They fought and our master had won. Our father was furious. He'd left us with Tokiyara, too ashamed to take us with him.>
<My father was broken, and Mugen Imawano, leader of the Imawano clan, had helped my father. He'd made him a key member of the organization. Soon afterwards, Mugen had dissapeared, and our father had earned his right to rule. But before he was given the position, he was murdered. Raizo, Mugen's brother, had been happy to rule in his place. The night my father had been murdered, he had stopped at Tokiyara's to speak to me. He said he was being followed and that he had to speak quickly. He gave me a hug and told me to kiss Sayuri for him. Then he was gone. I heard of his murder, and from the start I had suspected Raizo, Mugen's brother. Since that day, I've vowed to get my revenge.>
<Tokiyara had also been happy when Raizo became the new leader of the clan. With Mugen out of the way, the Imawano clan was ripe for the taking.>
<Tokiyara'd used us as his pawns, sending us to spy on the clan. We'd found that Mugen had had two sons. One of them, Hyo, had stayed active in the clan after his father's dissapearance. But the other, Kyosuke, had gone to live with his cousin. After a few years, Kyosuke re-entered the clan, right before Hyo Imawano's plot to take over Japan. When we found out about Kyosuke and his friends beating Hyo, we started to follow all three of them. That's when we found Mina. She'd been living with Hinata's family since she had been lost when she was five years old. I'd decided we had to get Mina back. I told Tokiyara I'd found her, and he decided it was time to start his plan.>
<For now I'll go along with this assignment.Don't want him to suspect anything too early...>
<He'll never hurt my sister again. Not after what he'd done. She'd been lucky to have gotten away.and even luckier to have found someone to take care of her. That's all over now, though. Tokiyara'll get what he deserves.I'll see to that!>
********************
The loud beeping of Hyo's alarm clock woke him up after only four hours of sleep. Apparently, this part of the nieghborhood wasn't as quiet as Justice High School, and Hyo wasn't used to the noise.
Hyo got out of his bed, heading to the bathroom to wash up. Thankfully, they did have running water, even if it was kind of dirty. Hyo washed his face and picked up his things to leave the place. The guy was at the desk, but he didn't give a crap about Hyo, and he didn't say a word as he watched him leave.
Hyo was relieved to get out of the place; that guy must've been in every room in the place, because that putrid smell wafted through the whole motel.
Hyo had left his school without knowing where he would go-apparently, this operation wasn't to well planned- and he had to think of where to start when he stopped at a small diner for something to eat.
After ordering something, he thought about where he could go.
<All I know is that Batsu thinks I've attacked a girl near Taiyo High and that I'd been attacking him and Kyosuke, too.>
Hyo's food arrived, and he started to eat as he thought.
<I'm going to have to talk to Kyosuke. Maybe he can straighten things out for me, give me a few clues. I don't know how he'll react after I'd just left before school.>
Hyo finished his food and paid the waitress.
<I'm not sure, but I guess I'm going to find out!>
