Chapter Archives - Edge | |
![]() Character Background: Edge is the youngest child of three siblings; he has a brother and a sister. He also lives with his parents; they are all upstanding citizens, and they are financially secure. Edge is the exception to this rule. For reasons unknown, he has acted like a juvenile delinquent for years. This only resulted in him ending up in a reform school. Eventually, he was transferred to Gedo, where he met Gan and Daigo; he then began to work for Daigo, alongside Gan. He rather liked it there. Unfortunately, the disappearance of Daigo two years later sent the school into chaos. Akira's arrival helped ease this, as she dressed as a biker and posed as a boy, but it wasn't enough. Soon, Edge, Akira, and Gan went out to look for Daigo. They eventually came across Hyo in Justice High, who told them that he had Daigo, but he hadn't succumbed to mind control yet. Akira and Edge gave Akira a royal beatdown after a long battle, and they found Daigo at the school. Akira then revealed herself to be a girl, but neither Gan or Edge seemed to mind much. Akira has now left Gedo, and Daigo is back. This means that life is pretty much back to normal at the school. However, there is no question that Akira has been missed, though Daigo's return makes it, as Pokey's sister says, "FOR THE COMMON GOOD!" Character Plans: Daigo may have brought relative order to Gedo High School again, but he's not the only gang leader with power. In fact, another gang outside of the school is gaining support rapidly, and its interest lies in seizing the power Daigo has. This is bad for Edge's life. Very bad. And, in spite of this threat, general mayhem is still fun for him. Character Strength: Edge loves knives for a reason. He's very skilled with them in direct combat; throwing them is another talent of his (he keeps the knives stored away in his pockets). His attacks are fast and often unpredictable, he has quite a bit of range, and his reflexes are sharp. He is also willing to stoop to cheating, which can be an advantage. He is a competent fighter because of these factors. He can be extremely insulting and rude, which can be good for intimidating people. He also has plenty of that fun fun backup from Gan, and sometimes Daigo. Character Weakness: Ooh, where do I start? Let's see. Edge is a terrible student. Though he barely squeaks by in most subjects (or doesn't pass at all), his mathematical skills are abysmal. He just can't seem to grasp the concepts. He's not really stupid, though it seems to be that way sometimes. He's a bit of a sadist, and is often waaaaaaaaaaaay too eager to get into a fight; this can and does lead to disaster. He's rather irresponsible, as well. Physically, he's a bit slow of a runner; he's very thin and simply not built for much physical activity. He hates it when his clothes wrinkle, and absolutely must adjust them if they are in a state of disarray. He also hates his real name, and gets very angry if he's called by it. |
